BAGUIO CITY

  Known as the summer capital of he Philippines because of its cold climate and great scenery every tourists loved.





The city of Baguio is the cosmopolitan hearth of Philippines and has both historical and political significance. The heart land of Cordillera Administration, the Baguio City is a mesh of modernity and archaism. The tourists find this place heaven for shopaholics. They browse through the markets and bargain to procure the best at the least. There were now malls, bars and other means of entertainment in the city where tourist and native of the Philippines enjoy. Some of the best places to see here in Baguio are:



The Lourdes Grotto is considered to be an amazing place to visit. You can find serenity and tranquility on this place. The tourists need to climb 252 steps in order to reach the main entrance of the church. 


Camp John Hay is another place to visit here in Baguio. It has numerous historical significances as this place used to provide recreation to the American infantry and generals. This boundary also houses a “Honeymoon Cottage” which is paradoxical to the ideals of military. There is a golf course which spreads 5,330 yards offering 18 holes. There are beautiful gardens, picnic spots and parks encompassing the Camp John Hay. 


 
Burnham Park is another beautiful spot here in Baguio where everyone can enjoy doing picnics, relaxing by way of boating and picture taking. This is where many tourists stay because its near to many establishments where they can shop and rest.
